Patricia Celan was just crowned Miss Charity B.C., but you would never guess it by looking at her. This drop-dead gorgeous girl sacrificed her beautiful brunette mane after she was crowned Miss Charity; she wanted to support cancer victims so she buzzed it off.
She raised more money than any other contestant for Cops for Cancer, an organization that itself raises funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. She lost her uncle to cancer last year and was determined to help other families. Patricia raised approximately $10,400.
After winning the pageant, Miss Charity BC did something amazing.
She shaved off her beautiful hair for cancer.
The braid that was chopped off.
She is beautiful, inside and out.
Her family and friends should be so proud.
Not only did Patricia raise over $10k for cancer research and shaved her beautiful hair to show support, she will volunteer this summer at Camp Goodtimes, a summer camp for kids with cancer in Maple Ridge. She is so beautiful, inside and out.
