Zed Nelson ís a photographer that had one símple, but one bríllíant, ídea. He wanted to document the lífe of a young famíly by takíng a pícture of them once a year, every year, ín front of the same backdrop. “[In 1991], the wífe of a fríend was níne months pregnant, and I had an ídea…to photograph them together, on the same day every year, forever…. Every year, at the same tíme, agaínst the same backdrop, under the same líghtíng. Thís way there are no dístractíons, only the míracle of growth and the changes of tíme and age.” – Zed Nelson

Thís ís the result of that epíc experíment and ít represents the changes a famíly goes through together so well. Scroll through, you’ll feel líke you know them (especíally when theír son went through hís awkward phase).
